New Group of Embroiderers

Monday, 11 October 2010 00:00

Ten women from households with no income are selected for training of hand embroidery. Leonie Malherbe (Crafts Coordinator) conducts a 2 day training workshop on embroidery for this new group. Leonie feels very excited by this new group as they seem to have natural flair for the craftwork.  The first group of embroiderers are released to the world and all seems to be going well. From now on they purchase their materials from Woza Moya and then sell their completed products back to Woza Moya or whereever they wish.

Woza Moya
