Here is how two American academics studied our interactions amongst the staff at Woza Moya, to identify the source of our success and sustainability as an organisation.

In September Dr Neil Prose, a paediatrician and dermatologist at Duke University in the US, and Dr Thirusha Naidu, a psychologist at University of KwaZulu-Natal, returned to Woza Moya to share their research findings on our unique approach. They identified 2 methods that sustain our work: Firstly the circles using mindfulness (concentrating attention and energy on what is happening right now) and reflective practice (thinking carefully about feelings, words, actions and how these impact on others). Secondly they concluded that our good leadership team contributed towards our success and sustainability as an organisation. Read more here:
