Mthobisi (Youth & Media Manager) and S’Bonelo (Paralegal & Advocacy Manager) went on an exchange visit to Cape Town, as a sequel to the Digital Influencing workshop.

First time on a plane for Mtho and first time to the Cape for both S’Bo and Mtho! They visited BLACK SASH http://www.blacksash.org.za, RAPCAN http://rapcan.org.za, New World Foundation http:/www.newworldfoundation.org.za , SWEAT http://www.sweat.org.za/, RAPE CRISIS http://rapecrisis.org.za and PMG (Parliamentary Monitoring Group), which included sitting in on a Parliamentary session. Attending a support group at SWEAT (Sex Workers Education and Advocacy Taskforce) made a deep and lasting impression on them; they were shocked to learn about the challenges of sex workers and now support the decriminalisation of sex work in South Africa as a basic human right.
