Permaculture Training for CCW team

Wednesday, 06 October 2010 00:00

The Woza Moya CCW team receive two days of hands on training from the 3 CCW Permaculture trainers.

The weather was perfect with the spring rains having just begun and the ground nice and soft. Everyone rolled up their sleeves and began by removing all the remaining plants in the Woza Moya demonstration permaculture garden. The soil was prepared and layered in the permaculture way and new vegetables and herbs planted ready for the summer season. These crops should be ready to eat in January 2011. Both the Play School children and also the Community Centre staff have their daily meals from this garden, wonderful fresh and nutritous food!
