The feeding scheme is reinstated at Lusiba Primary School
Both our two local schools are very poorly resourced. Woza Moya has made appeals over the years for support for these schools. Various donors have come forward and assisted with educational materials such as books, posters, stationary, 3 second hand computers and a second hand fax machine.
Vasilis Marambos a regular visitor to the Buddhist Retreat Centre came forward with a very generous donation for Lusiba Primary School when the feeding scheme collapsed there. Steven and Martine Batchelor brought a new photocopy machine for Lusiba which the greater community of Ufafa has access to. Steven and Marine also offered their dana received from a retreat in the USA to electrify Sinevuso Secondary School.
Even though these two schools are still poorly equipped, things have greatly improved through the generosity and good will of people who have come forward to help. |
